Our group was very excited about this subject we talked about a few different ideas before jumping right in to something. We wanted to make sure we picked a great topic that we could gain some knowledge about ourselves. We had a ton of questions we wanted to get more knowledge about. However, we wanted to focus more on our audience which we decided would be teachers looking to learn about this movement and hopefully, begin to teach students about it. In accordance with that, we narrowed the questions down to these ten questions:
What is Meatless Mondays?
Who supports/ has joined the movement (celebrities)?
What schools have joined the movement successfully?
How can teachers incorporate Meatless Mondays into their lesson plans?
What are some kid-friendly and meatless recipes?
How can one teacher have their whole school join the movement? What are the long term effects of scaling back on eating meat?
How does the consumption of meat affect our planet?Who has implemented Meatless Mondays with success (companies, organizations, celebrities and families)?
Why did The Mondays Campaign come up with the idea of having one day without meat?
What other foods can we intake that are meatless?
What activities can you do with students to get them interested/ make them aware of movement?
